Get Close and Personal...October 04 Handphone Radiation - CautionJust read an article on handphone radiation. Not too sure how accurate the information is, but why not prevent it whenever possible?
This morning I heard a sad real story from my colleague. She told me
one of her friend always miscarriage when the baby 2-3 months old for few times continuously in few years time. The couple went to check with many doctors and lastly one of the doctor check on the death baby and found out the baby's body cells keeping die when baby growing up until he/she cannot be survived. This is because her uterus has been affected by HANDPHONE radiotion. The doctor told she has no chance to get baby no matter how because the radiotion affected her uterus which the major portion of her uterus cells already death, cannot carry healthy baby. All this because of she has been keeping her handphone in her working jacket which the position just right to the uterus positon for few years time. Please beware and take note the consequences is not worth. Dearest family members, please do not overlook the handphone radiotion which will affect our health or body organs. Please put away your handphone when ever you don't need it much. Guys, please do not keep your handphone near to the kidney position and pants pocket as this will hurt and affect your "production" if you plan to get baby. The other doctor also advice another friend to keep away handphone to her new born baby to avoid radiotion to baby's brain and cells. Do not let the baby or toddler play with the handphone for long time. Because the small young baby or toddler still very fragile and most probably they cannot take the radiotion. Please remind yourself do not sleep together with your handphone or put next to your bed. Keep away any other electronic goods (such as tv also) which got radiotion away from your bedroom to reduce risk as we have to sleep few hours a day in our bedroom at night. Do not think that you switch off the TV it will be no radiotion actually it is still around in your room just not eyes visible. Even the small alarm clock not to be advised to put just next to your head while sleeping. Care about yourself and people that you love. October 01 Guang Liang ConcertBeautiful, just attended the concert by Guang Liang in Bukit Jalil with my gf. A very nice birthday present indeed by my gf, she sponsored my ticket.
Anyway, the concert is nice and very very interesting. A lot of animations, stage-effects such as snow falling from the sky, raining, and quite a few fireworks display. Overall, I would rate this concert as 8.5/10, with Fish Leong concert I went previously 9/10. A very good rating still, and I do hope he will produce much much more ballads such as 'Tong Hua' and 'Di Yi Chi' in the near future.
September 30 Trip to Frasers/Bentong/GentingUpdates on why I was missing last week; As the title states, I was actually on a local holiday spree with my gf in conjunction with my birthday celebration. We stayed in Frasers for 2 nites, 1 nite in Bentong and 1 nite in Genting.
Frasers Hill
The last highlands for us in Peninsular. Basically last year we went to Cameron Highlands and Bukit Tinggi, not to mention Genting Highland occasionally. Maybe next year onwards we will plan to go to beaches, then islands, then ......
The Gap
Gap no more? Hehehe. Previously, there is only one road leading up to Frasers, and due to the nature of the road which is so small and limited, it is basically a one way road. Traffic up and down previously is controlled by a gate system with uphill traffic limited to odd hours and traffic downhill limited to even hours.
But recently, there is a new road opened that provides the way leading up to Frasers. The old Gap road stays, and its for cars that is coming downhill.
Hotel - Shahzan Inn & Tendem
We stayed in Shahzan Inn for two nites, and though the room is a bit small, its still alright for me. We rented a tendem during our first real visiting day and we had quite some tiring journey riding the bike up the hills of Frasers, tired but enjoyable. We even had a game of congkak after one of the dinner.

Childrens Playground/Fun With Wheels
This is the place where I look forward to the most in the whole trip. Basically, the place revives a lot of memories of me during my younger days. My mum's company basically owns a bungalow in Frasers and often come up here for the company trip. What a sad sight for me though. The mini golf course that previously look so green and beautiful, now become unmanaged and unplayable. The skating rink looks deserted as well as I dont see any shops around which provides rental for skating shoes. And I was looking for the train that I sat on and took a picture when I was small, not here anymore either! Guess it was replaced with a kindergarden. Previously, there was a paddock where people are able to do horseriding on a small track. That has moved to another area and not around this playground anymore. Seriously, looking at the state of the area, very very sad.
The Mini Golf course sad state We are enjoying ourselves
What are we looking at? Am I too big for these games?
Flora Park
A place with with greens and quite a lot of nice flowers. Guess that says it all. But I don't think they are selling any of those.
Lots of beautiful flowers The flowers are dying!
I feel like plucking some flowers... At the entrance of the park
Allan's Water
This is a place where we went twice. The first time we went, we rent the boat, ride for less than 10 minutes, then rush back because it started to rain. Quite romantic and funny though, because while we are cycling back to the shore, we share an umbrella, and it sure looks pretty cute! Try imagining it, sweet!
The second time we went, the weather is perfect and sunny. And we had quite a great time boating around. Too bad we were the only boat there, maybe because we went there a little early, but it sure make us feel like we owned the area!
Cycling pass the Allan's Water signage Nice greens!
Does that meant to be horns? The 'Jetty'
Brinchang Bungalow
This is the bungalow that I've talked about earlier. Stayed in this place when I was small during the few outings to Frasers Hill when I was small. Sweet memories.
Pictures of the Brinchang Bungalow
Jeriau Waterfall
Don't really remember going to a waterfall in Fraser's, and it does look quite interesting. The water is so cold but too bad we cant really jump into the water and enjoy ourselves because we didnt bring extra clothing.
At the waterfall Looks so cooling and refreshing!
After Fraser's adventure, we went over to Bentong since it is on the way to Genting. Besides, we also plan to visit the hot spring which is situated somewhere along Bentong -> KL old road.
Bentong
The perfect stop-over between Frasers Hill and Genting Highlands. We stayed in a hotel called Hotel Kristal and to my surprise, the room is very spacious and nice, and a lot more cheaper than Frasers (Expected though).
Foods Galore!
Wow! So much food here in Bentong! Good and cheap!
For my personal favourite, look at the pic below. Pork Satay and Wild Boar Satay! Guess which is which?
Delicious Satay! (Wild Boar and Pork)
Hot Spring
Ouch! My dear has a slipped here and she kind of hurt her back a little. Sob sob, but thankfully, she is fine now.
Pretty dissappointed with this place though, we expected more, but what we get is a pool full of murky water, unmanaged and we even caught one guy happily bathing with lots of soap in this hot spring. Guess his house has no water heater?
Unmanaged Hot Spring.... Murky water in a dirty pool
Genting
I was expecting some sort of birthday present from Uncle Lim, but instead, he made me poorer. What a way to end my birthday holiday, Hehehe.
Final Say
Thanks to my dear who accompanied me throughout the whole trip. I have enjoyed a great deal myself and I hope dear enjoys my company too. Thanks for the lovely present too! Love ya always!
For those who sent me birthday greeting through sms or calls, thank you very much for remembering my birthday. I am sorry if I forgot to msg u guys/gals during your birthday because my memory on dates a little bit poor, but I really appreciate your wishes very very much.
September 28 Back... FuhFor those wondering why the blog was not updated in the past week, I was actually on leave.
Went for a short holiday with my gf (Well, not really that short) in conjunction for my birthday. Will post more blog and picture once I get those picture extracted from the camera.
Came back rushing for the three day course of Microsoft Office 2007 and Sharepoint training.
Well, will blog more later.
Class starting...... Tata for now! September 20 Badminton Tourney Final and Drink DrinkWe....are the champions...my friend....
Yeah, CMG won the Dominoes Annual Tournament last nite by beating Dominoes A team 3-2.
I lost my doubles match (ouch!) but luckily and easily won the mixed doubles match thanks to the person who covers me around the court, Kelly. Hail Kelly the great!
Anyway, after the tournament, we went over to one place called Nasi Lemak Rempah Ratus situated nearby the badminton court in Puchong for some buffet dinner. I arrived a lil later with my gf as we went back to my place to keep some stuffs. Guess what, there is not much food left. The chicken is empty, the fried rice bucket is empty, the fried mee left a little, and the poppiah tray basically left the bee hoon where the poppiah is suppose to stand on. My goodness, and to say that we are only about 20-30 minutes late. Sad dinner we had.....sigh...
The prize giving ceremony was held after the dinner, and all we get for our heroics is just some plastic throphy. Where is my cash prize?????
Geeze.... such a kiam siap tournament.... with such a cheap dinner...
Heheheh...
The best part of the nite is the drinking session. We went to a pub called 'Jenga Pub' after the dinner and I had quite some drinks over there. I have not have much drinks for about 2 years, and yesterday, since everything is free, I thrashed quite a lot of beer and whisky into my stomach, mostly because of challenges from my badminton team mates. I still end up well and still able to drive. I have not lost touch on my drinking skills yet! hehehe
Oh ya dear, thanks for coming and supporting me through the whole tournament ya.
September 18 Mizuno Wave Run (Pics)Hahahaha!
Interestingly, my picture was snapped up during the run.
Quite cool!
The photo was taken near the end of the race, when I was panting and out of breath.
September 17 Mizuno Wave Run... AfterFuh!
What a relieve after going through such a tough course. Compared to the one that I went for in PJ, this is 10x tougher.
Now I know why they call it wave run. The route is basically worse than the way to go up Genting.
Luckily, I ended up with a finisher medal as I completed the course less than the time specified (I clocked 1 hour 13 minutes, the qualifying time is 1 hour 30 mins). Not too bad for a lazy person like me who did not even move a muscle for the event.
Guess next time have to scan the course before joining an event. This is a lil too much for me.
Anyone interested in joining me for any other running events? (10km one of course) |
